Mystery Monday – Furniture & Paint

Today is a double trouble Mystery Monday….two subjects today that we need some advice on (keep scrolling below the picture for the second subject).

This darling bedside table (?) was a measly $3 at a yard sale. It just needs a little TLC and it will be perfect. Being new to furniture restoration/salvage, some guidance is necessary. What should we do with it to “fix” it? What kind of TLC does it need?

In a replay from last week…What is your favorite brand of spray paint? (Still looking for some suggestions on this one)

We have to apologize if you linked from A Soft Place to Land or Between Naps on the Porch and didn't find a project finished, we just need some help getting started :)

This post is linked to DIY Day on A Soft Place to Land and Metamorphosis Monday on Between Naps on the Porch!

If it was mine... I would paint it white, sandpaper some natural places on the corners and edges as "wear" and change the jewelry (hardware). Its a really pretty and feminine piece! Have whatever you decide and don't forget to take photos for us to see.
Hope you are having a great week!

Everyone seem sto love Rustoleum American Accents in Heirloom White. I looked for it the other day, but didn't dind it yet. I've heard that it's the Only one to use! And I would paint it black and then red and sand throught o the black. But we need to see where it goes!

I would go with black or heirloom white. BTW my walmart does not carry rustoleum heirloom white. :( (spray paint)
I like to buy heirloom white in the quart and spray paint. It makes lots of jobs go easier!
HEY, I just looked to the left and saw my blog on your list, THANKS! I will become a follower! :)

Aww! You two are too sweet! Thanks for adding me to your bloglist!

About the furniture, it is a really nice piece with excellent lines. If you have followed me for a little while, you know that I like bold colors...so I would choose some color vs black/white! It should be pretty simple, just sand, sand, sand, wipe clean, prime, and spray paint 2 coats. Then change out the hardware or spray paint those as well. Hope this helps!!!
Take Care!
